All Students that attend UNSW for their studies can compete at Uni Sports National and Championships representing the Uni . They will need to compete for the Club they do squads with outside Uni Sports. They do not need to Swim at UNSW Squad training but we would like them to be part of our squads and be part of UNSW Swimming Club. If a student joins our Swimming club they can also swim competitively for our club at Metropolitan, State and National Championship and can be selected for NSW Swim Team. In 2024, Swimming will be contested in men’s and women’s events at the 2024 Sydney Open at Sydney Olympic Park, NSW. Multi-class events will also be offered.
UniSport Australia respectfully acknowledges the Wanngal People; the traditional owners of the land on which the 2024 Nationals Swimming will take place.
The 2023 Sydney Open and Nationals Uni Sports Swimming Championships will be held at SOPAC May 9th to 11th . Lets hope our UNSW Swimmers do well .
